Teacher Statement

Welcome!

I believe the primary role of a music teacher is to inspire young minds to engage in the difficult process of learning. Learning an instrument is uniquely challenging and has a direct positive impact on how one approaches other academic disciplines. The ability to grasp abstract musical concepts within a logical, step by step framework, enhances the skill of critical thinking and bolsters confidence. My guiding philosophy as a music teacher is to help my students grow a lifelong passion for learning and to equip them with the creative skills that musicianship always provides.

Lesson Types

I am currently offering piano lessons that cover RCM piano levels 1 - 8. Any age is welcome!

The first lesson is a trial lesson and is free of charge.

These lessons are perfect for absolute beginners and younger students.

45 Minute Lesson

These lessons are well suited for students who are a little more experienced and want to take a deeper look at the material.

60 Minute Lesson

These lessons are perfect for adults and more advanced students who want to explore multiple pieces with greater depth.
